• Vision rates and benefits
• Life rates and benefits

What is changing for 2008?

• Medical rates effective May 1, 2008 and Dental rated announced 1/1/2008
• Blue Cross of California’s name to Anthem Blue Cross which will change sales collateral and supplies
• Expansion of 360 Degree Health program which has been improved and expanded and now available to both PPO and HMO members.

Important Timelines

• Agent mailings begin the week of March 10
• Employer mailings begin the week of March 17
• Majority of Sales Collateral will be available to order by March 15th
• New Business April 1 Effective cut off date for applications is 4/18
• Open Window for Plan Changes for Focal Renewal Cycle Groups (original effective dates prior to December 1, 2003) will take place from May 1 –July 1, 2008
• Open Window for Anniversary Renewal Cycle Groups (original effective dates of December 1, 2003 or after) will take place 30 days prior through 30 days following their next 12 month anniversary date on or after May 1, 2008.
